Job summary

WWC Engineering in Laramie, WY invites a Geological Intern to provide geologic and environmental support to project managers on NEPA and related projects. You will conduct field investigations, assist with reports and permit applications, and document field data.

You'll prepare geologic figures in Civil3D or ArcGIS, coordinate with geologists and engineers, and help in meeting client standards while developing professional skills in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Provides geologic and environmental support to project managers for various types of projects
• Conducts field investigations to support design work
• Assists with the preparation of reports, environmental documents, permit applications and other project deliverables
• Prepare geologic figures in Civil3D or ArcGIS or other relevant software
• Understands and incorporates applicable client requirements, standards and specifications
• Works closely with geologists, engineers and other technical staff to coordinate project efforts
• Performs all other duties and tasks assigned by the Project Manager
