Job summary

Keystone Mines Inc. seeks a Geologic Technician / Core Cutter based at our Nevada facility to process diamond drill core, cut and sample cores, and maintain a safe core facility. You will support geology teams with data gathering and reporting while ensuring chain-of-custody and QA/QC standards are met.

The role requires safety discipline, physical work, and the ability to operate core saws and related equipment. Travel to field sites may be required for sampling and verification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with diamond drill core handling and sampling procedures.
• Ability to lift and move core boxes safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and sample tracking.

Responsibilities

• Core processing and sampling of diamond drill core following instructions and protocols.
• Label, bag, and prepare samples for shipment and maintain chain-of-custody.
• Assist geologists with core handling, logging, and QA/QC duties.
• Maintain safe, clean core facility and assist with inventory and equipment upkeep.
• Collaborate with geologists, drillers, and contractors; report hazards and incidents.
