Job summary

Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time Geology faculty. Positions are assigned per course and may include day, evening, and weekend classes at the Middletown, Fauquier, and Luray-Page campuses.

Applicants must reside in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland or DC. Responsibilities include teaching college-level geology courses, with potential for distance learning on/off campus.

Qualifications

• Masters in the field or Masters with 18 graduate credits in the field.
• The ability to use instructional technology is required.
• Occupational experience in the field.
• Experience with Canvas or other online course management tools
• College level teaching experience, online experience a plus
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
• The ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students
