Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Geologist Intern to join our Environmental Services Group in Denver, CO. You will support the team by researching, compiling, and analyzing scientific data, and perform routine tasks such as proofreading and copying technical and non-technical reports.

Interns may participate in fieldwork and site investigations, including basic geophysical testing, rock/soil classification and testing.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Hydrology, Geology, or a related science degree is required.
• Interest in environmental fieldwork and data analysis.
• Ability to work in Denver, Colorado area.

Responsibilities

• Research, compile, and analyze scientific data for projects.
• Proofread and copy technical and non-technical reports and specifications.
• Assist in fieldwork and site investigations, including basic geophysical testing.

Job Description

CDM Smith is looking for a Geologist Intern to join our Environmental Services Group in Denver, CO.

During this internship, you will support our CDM Smith team by researching, compiling, and analyzing various scientific data. You will perform routine tasks such as proofreading and copying technical and non-technical reports, specifications, and other administrative duties. Interns may also participate in fieldwork and site investigations, including basic geophysical testing, geologic/seismic evaluations, rock/soil classification and testing.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science, Hydrology, Geology, or a related science degree is required.

Additional Pay Range Information

CDM Smith is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This pay range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels for the geographic location assigned to the position. In addition to geographic location, a candidate’s salary is determined by several other factors including, but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, relevant work experience, skills, required certifications, and education/training.

Additional Compensation

All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
