Job summary

CDM Smith in Helena, MT is seeking an Environmental Engineering Intern to join our Environmental Services team. You'll work with a dynamic group on a variety of public, federal, and industrial projects, gaining hands-on exposure to data collection, analyses, and design support.

Job Description

CDM Smith is looking for an Environmental Engineering Intern to join our Environmental Services team in Helena, MT!

You'll be working with a dynamic team of industry leading engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects. Students will work closely with senior engineers to research environmental information to support analyses and design. They will evaluate data to determine usability in for analyses and modeling. Students will also assist in developing documents and presentations to disseminate study information, and may assist with fieldwork to collect environmental data. They may also be exposure to ArcGIS, CADD, Excel and Access software to display, analyze and manage data.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelors or Master's in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field is required.

20% - 40%

Driving Requirements

An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.

Additional Pay Range Information

CDM Smith is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This pay range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels for the geographic location assigned to the position. In addition to geographic location, a candidate's salary is determined by several other factors including, but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, relevant work experience, skills, required certifications, and education/training.

Additional Compensation

All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
