Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Geologist Intern to join our Environmental Services Group in Jacksonville. You will support the team by researching, compiling, and analyzing scientific data, and assist with proofreading and copying technical and non-technical reports.

Interns may participate in fieldwork and site investigations, including basic geophysical testing and rock/soil analyses. Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science, Hydrology, or Geology is required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science, Hydrology, Geology, or a related science degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Research, compile and analyze various scientific data for the team.
• Proofread and copy technical and non-technical reports, specifications, and other administrative duties.
• Participate in fieldwork and site investigations including basic geophysical testing, geologic/seismic evaluations, rock/soil classification and testing.
