Description

RETTEW is a leading engineering consulting firm that provides geotechnical and environmental services. Our team is dedicated to providing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Geologist to join our team. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
Technical Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct field investigations, including soil and rock sampling, groundwater monitoring, and geological mapping.
  2. Assist in data analysis and interpretation.
  3. Prepare detailed field notes, logs, and reports.
  4. Follow tasks through a series of related detailed steps or processes.
Program, Project, and Task Management:
  1. Operate and maintain geophysical equipment and instruments.
  2. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to support project objectives.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
  4. Travel extensively to various field locations, sometimes for extended periods.
  5. Handle and transport heavy equipment through rugged terrains.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geophysical Earth Science, or a related field.
  2. Willingness to perform extensive fieldwork and travel frequently.
  3. Ability to handle and operate heavy equipment.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
  8. Experience with geophysical survey techniques (e.g., seismic, magnetic, electrical) helpful.
  9. Familiarity with data processing software and tools.
  10. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in fieldwork.
