Job summary

Atlantic Coast Consulting, Inc. (ACC) is seeking an entry-level Geologist/Environmental Scientist to join our team. You will support field tasks, install monitoring wells, and engage directly with clients on site.

The role blends fieldwork with office analysis to advance our environmental mission. Ideal candidates hold a BS in geology or related field, have strong communication skills, and are willing to travel for fieldwork, including overnight.

Qualifications

• BS in geology or related field (0–4 years experience).
• Strong communication skills, written and oral, with MS Office proficiency.
• Willingness to travel overnight and work in field conditions.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Field Work: Install environmental monitoring wells, support safety and environmental compliance, conduct contaminant assessments, collect soil, groundwater, surface water, stormwater, and air data, interact with clients on site.
• Office Work: Develop bedrock and soil maps, analyze geophysical data, assess aquifers, support regulatory permits, review plans, and contribute to reports.
