Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a GEOINT Strategic Advisor to join our team in Springfield, VA. You will lead strategy sessions, validate GEOINT needs, and craft requirements for storage and analysis in databases like GIMS, RMS, or PRISM.

You will coordinate with IC, DoD, and civil partners, leverage your deep GEOINT knowledge, and develop high-level briefing materials and scenarios to test future capability requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 11+ years of progressively responsible experience, or 15+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Significant experience in Collection Management, GEOINT, and/or the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Knowledge of GEOINT topics including the National Intelligence Prioritization Framework (NIPF), phenomenology, and NIIRS.
• Demonstrated experience with SQL queries and expressions for data management.
• Expertise in the MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and MS Access.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy sessions, working groups, and outreach visits with IC, DoD, and civil partners to validate and document GEOINT needs.
• Translate complex all-source intelligence needs into validated GEOINT requirements for storage and analysis in master databases (GIMS, RMS, PRISM).
• Educate partners and develop collection strategies using overhead, commercial, and airborne sensors.
• Identify gaps in GEOINT data and develop Future Intelligence Problems (FIPs) and All-Source Tasks (ASTs).
• Manage and maintain requirements data using SQL and MS Access; perform QA and data exports for modeling tools.
• Draft mission-based scenarios and study decks based on Defense Planning Guidance to test future capability requirements.
• Develop briefing materials, guidance statements, and technical reports for senior leadership and partners.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented GEOINT Strategic Advisor to join our team in Springfield, VA.

The Functional Specialist Advisor / GEOINT Business Analyst will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support data collection activities, to include conducting engagement strategy sessions with partners, participating in geospatial requirements reviews, and maintaining validated GEOINT needs of the community.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Leading and facilitating strategy sessions, working groups, and outreach visits with Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, and civil partners to validate and document GEOINT needs.
• Translating complex all-source intelligence needs into validated GEOINT requirements for storage and analysis in master databases such as GIMS, RMS, or PRISM.
• Applying expert knowledge of overhead, commercial, and airborne sensors to educate partners and develop collection strategies that satisfy future GEOINT needs.
• Identifying gaps in current GEOINT data and developing Future Intelligence Problems (FIPs) and All-Source Tasks (ASTs) to mitigate information shortfalls.
• Managing and maintaining requirements data using SQL and MS Access while performing quality assurance and data exports for modeling and simulation tools.
• Researching and drafting mission-based scenarios and study decks based on Defense Planning Guidance to test future capability requirements.
• Developing high-level briefing materials, guidance statements, and technical reports for senior leadership and partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 11+ years of progressively responsible experience, or 15+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Significant experience in Collection Management, GEOINT, and/or the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Knowledge of GEOINT topics including the National Intelligence Prioritization Framework (NIPF), phenomenology, and NIIRS.
• Demonstrated experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) queries and expressions for data management.
• Expertise in the MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and MS Access.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven communication skills with the ability to engage across a large team and with diverse members and partners.
• Experience managing distribution lists, rosters, and calendars to facilitate organizational collaboration and engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to work with little to no supervision while effectively reporting challenges to leadership.
• Professional experience in the development of complex GEOINT collection scenarios.
• Functional understanding of Modeling and Simulation as it relates to GEOINT collection and analysis.

Clearance Requirements

• An active/current TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
