Job summary

Metronome, LLC is seeking two mid-level Data Scientists / GEOINT Exploitation Specialists to support NGA's GEO-SPI B-016 program in Springfield, Virginia. The roles involve applying data science techniques to GEOINT data, developing automated workflows, and delivering insights to mission stakeholders.

This position is fully onsite with no telework option. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience or a STEM degree with 2+ years, and are proficient in Python and SQL.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance (willingness to obtain CI Poly).
• Ability to work onsite in Springfield, Virginia, 40 hours per week.
• Knowledge of GEOINT collection and associated systems.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL.
• GEO-SPI Level 3 experience via one of: 5+ years of experience; or STEM degree + 2+ years; or STEM degrees at both bachelor’s and master’s.

Responsibilities

• Apply data science and analytic techniques to GEOINT collection data and associated systems.
• Develop, maintain, and improve data-processing and analytic workflows using Python and SQL.
• Organize, transform, analyze, and interpret intelligence-related datasets.
• Support the integration and analysis of GEOINT and multi-INT data.
• Evaluate and apply machine learning algorithms to intelligence data.
• Develop and test new analytic methodologies in response to mission requirements.
• Automate repeatable data preparation and analysis processes.
• Communicate analytic findings and technical recommendations to mission and technical stakeholders.
• Learn new technologies and adapt solutions to changing operational needs.
• Perform all work onsite in a secure government environment.
