Job summary

Castalia Systems is seeking a GEOINT Conveyance Specialist to edit and format GEOINT reports and graphics for timely, compliant delivery to NGA customers. You will review text, visuals, and content to meet agency standards and provide constructive feedback to analysts and officers.

Role requires 3+ years in copy-editing with a graphic design background, and proficiency with MS Office, Acrobat, ICPS, and SharePoint. Onsite in Springfield, VA with rotating shifts and strong teamwork expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of copy-editing experience with a background in graphic design.
• Proficiency in collaborating with analysts to convey high-quality, time-sensitive GEOINT to NGA's external customers.
• Ability to provide pre-publication quality reviews and identify gaps in product quality.
• Expertise in reviewing and formatting geospatial intelligence reports and products according to agency standards.
• Provide clear, professional feedback on layout, grammar, design, and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Edit, format, and review GEOINT elements such as report text, visuals, and other content per agency publication policies.
• Apply copy editing to ensure text quality and effective visual communication of concepts.
• Collaborate with analytic authors, GOOs, and IDs to support GEOINT production and dissemination.
• Guide layout, presentation, and accuracy of graphics and text.
• Troubleshoot production issues and assist with editing PowerPoint presentations and briefing materials.
• Use Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other software with minimal supervision.
• Participate in training, forums, and conferences to stay current with industry standards.
