Geography Teacher

An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Enfield is looking for a Geography Teacher to start in September 2025. This is a full-time and permanent position.

The current Humanities Head of Department has helped the department grow significantly. The team includes young, experienced, and Teach First Teachers, along with graduate Teaching Assistants supporting attainment across KS3, 4, & 5.

This school has achieved excellent Progress 8 results and fosters a fun, creative learning environment.

Experienced Geography Teachers may take on additional responsibilities such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator or Pastoral roles. Newly Qualified Geography Teachers (ECT) will benefit from bespoke induction programs and work alongside a range of Humanities staff.

Person Specification - Geography Teacher

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining it
• Strong academic background (Degree, A Levels, GCSEs)
• Meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
• Ability to work well within a large Humanities team
• Willingness to accept feedback
