Job summary

Brigham Young University seeks an adjunct instructor in Geography to teach GEOG 212: Introduction to Geographic Information Systems for the Winter 2027 semester. A Master’s degree in Geography or a related field is required by the start date, with teaching experience or strong GIS knowledge preferred.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate students, assign and grade coursework, and hold office hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geography or related field completed by start date.
• Teaching experience and/or strong knowledge of Geographic Information Systems.
• Relocation and/or residency in Utah for the duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach GEOG 212: Introduction to Geographic Information Systems for Winter 2027.
• Assign and grade assignments and hold office hours as needed.
• Not required to attend department meetings.
