RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a GIS Technician with offices in Manhattan, NY, Iselin, NJ, Freehold, NJ, or Morristown, NJ. The role supports mapping and spatial data analysis using GIS software and Excel, delivering clear GIS drawings for various projects.

The position is a full-time, 2-year contract, on-site with potential for conversion, and includes benefits, vacation and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as a GIS Technician

In this role, you will utilize GIS software and Excel to support mapping and spatial data analysis needs. You will create, update, and manage geospatial data, collaborating with team members to deliver accurate and visually clear GIS drawings for a variety of projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or related field
• Experience with spatial analysis and geoprocessing
• Familiarity with database management and SQL
