Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking GIS Analysts with strong ESRI ArcGIS Pro experience to work on as-built projects for high-pressure transmission pipelines on long-term contract opportunities. These positions are full-time and remote, with teammates expected to be logged on, fully accessible and productive 8 hours a day during normal office hours.

Required experience includes ArcGIS Pro hands-on usage, utilities or oil & gas exposure, and working with as-built data.

Job description

Our client is seeking GIS Analysts with strong ESRI ArcGIS Pro experience to work on as-built projects for high pressure transmission pipelines for long-term contract opportunities. These positions are full-time and remote, and teammates are expected be logged on, fully accessible and productive 8 hours a day during normal office hours.

• Candidates should meet the following requirements: Experience working with ESRI's ArcGIS Pro software
• Gas transmission GIS experience would be ideal. Road and Highway work also applies, as they use similar systems. Other Utility experience also is helpful.
• At least 2 years working with As builts and translating that data to GIS. Experience with ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing (APR) or Linear Referencing System (LRS) is a great bonus but not required.
• While we can supply a laptop for those who need an adequate system to work from, Candidates must have multiple/external monitors- just a laptop will not suffice as the work requires quite a bit of screen real estate. Candidates must also work in an area that consistently provides reliable high speed internet access. Lack of adequate equipment and internet access could impact productivity, and ultimately, the assignment itself.
• In addition to the standard Pre-Employment checks, our client also requires a TSA KTN, so candidates must either have, or be willing to immediately apply for this clearance.
