Job summary

DT Midstream is seeking a GIS Analyst to maintain geospatial pipeline data and support pipeline projects, operations, and regulatory compliance. The role requires proficiency in GIS concepts and collaboration with other GIS staff to handle larger assignments while preserving quality.

Responsibilities include data migration, spatial analysis, QC, and assisting with annual regulatory reports. Strong ESRI ArcGIS Pro and Office skills, plus APR/LRS experience, are expected in a team-oriented office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field.
• Experience with GIS data in a branch versioned, ESRI ArcGIS enterprise geodatabase with LRS APR.
• Proficient with ESRI ArcGIS Pro and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit pipeline GIS data in an LRS-enabled enterprise geodatabase.
• ETL data from multiple sources into the GIS system (as-builts, in-line inspection, AutoCAD).
• Perform ArcGIS spatial analysis and geoprocessing to generate data products and project deliverables.
• Apply QC procedures to GIS data for completeness and accuracy.
• Identify data gaps or issues and coordinate with DTM teams for resolution.
• Assist in annual regulatory reporting to agencies (FERC, PHMSA).
• Share expertise and seek improvements in workflows.

Job Summary

The GIS Analyst processes and maintains geospatial pipeline data supporting the execution of pipeline projects, pipeline operations, pipeline integrity, and pipeline regulatory compliance. Is proficient in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures and assists other GIS staff. Demonstrates the ability to take on larger assignments, while maintaining efficiencies and quality.

Key Accountabilities

• Create and edit/maintain accurate pipeline GIS data required by a Linear Referencing System (LRS) in an enterprise geodatabase
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources/formats into the enterprise GIS, including pipeline as-built, in-line inspection, and AutoCAD data, etc.
• Perform ArcGIS spatial analysis and geoprocessing to generate spreadsheets, data tables, statistics, and project deliverables
• Review GIS data for completeness and accuracy by applying established quality control (QC) procedures
• Identify missing data, data differences, or project concerns and work with applicable DTM teams on solutions
• Support the preparation of annual reports to FERC, (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission), PHMSA, (Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration), and appropriate state Public Utility Commissions
• Continually identify opportunities for improvement in the way work is performed, share expertise and lessons learned

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field.
• Experience working with GIS data in a branch versioned, ESRI ArcGIS enterprise geodatabase containing a LRS configured with ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing (APR)
• Proficient with ESRI ArcGIS Pro, and Microsoft Office Products.

Preferred

• Exposure to pipeline GIS data supporting pipeline projects, pipeline operations, pipeline integrity and pipeline regulatory compliance.
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS for AutoCAD
• Working knowledge and experience working in Esri's Utility and Pipeline Data Model (UPDM)
• Utility or Pipeline industry experience
