Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Geodesist to develop and maintain survey control standards for aerial mapping projects. You will create control plans, determine scope and fees, and oversee project execution while processing GNSS networks in Trimble Business Center.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain survey control standards for aerial mapping.
• Create control plans and layouts for projects of varying size.
• Develop scope & fee for applicable work and oversee execution.
• Process GNSS control networks in Trimble Business Center.
• Establish and validate datums, coordinate systems, and projections.
• Perform GNSS network adjustments and QC checks.
• Prepare control reports with methodology and accuracy results.
• Coordinate with leads and field crews on control requirements.
• Review control data collected for accuracy and completeness.
• Stay current on GNSS tech and geodetic standards.
