Job summary
Woolpert is hiring a GeoBase Regional Support Team Analyst to support Air Force installations from Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. The role is on-site with four days at AFCEC and one remote day, focusing on GIS data management and geospatial analysis for the GeoBase program.
You will work with ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Online to create maps, manage geodatabases, and ensure data quality to support DoD geospatial standards.
Qualifications
- Two to four years of geospatial experience.
- Active Tier 1 Investigation or ability to pass Tier 1 background check.
- Extensive knowledge of Esri ArcGIS software and capabilities (ArcGIS Desktop/ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS/AGOL).
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for Agile project management.
- Strong customer service mindset and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Air Force GIS data in a multi-user geodatabase.
- Produce installation, range, and vicinity maps using cartographic techniques.
- Perform data QA/QC to meet DoD geospatial standards.
- Coordinate data updates with AFCEC personnel and installers.
- Support GIS requirements and provide training and data stewardship.
- Utilize Jira/Confluence to track tasks and projects.
