Job summary

EarthScope Consortium Inc. is seeking a GeoWorkforce Associate I to support geoscience workforce development efforts remotely within the United States. The role focuses on implementing workforce programs, attracting geophysicists and supporting internships and alumni networks.

You will work with partner organizations to advance geoscience workforce priorities, assist with publications, and present results at conferences. A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master’s in geosciences is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Google suite of tools and data management.
• ,
• Experience supporting workforce development initiatives.
• Ability to coordinate schedules and program logistics across multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS.
• Geophysics or geosciences knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement geophysics workforce programming and products designed to attract and develop geophysicists.
• Coordinate recruitment, intern communications, and onboarding activities.
• Support internship operations and alumni engagement.
• Collaborate with partner organizations to advance workforce priorities.
• Prepare publications documenting workforce projects and impacts.
• Support presentations at conferences and program outreach.
