Job summary

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. is seeking GeoStructural/Construction Engineers to join our expanding team in Norwood, MA. You will contribute to the technical execution of diverse infrastructure projects under senior engineers and principals.

Responsibilities include analysis and design of geostructural systems, field investigations, and construction support. A Civil Engineering degree and 4+ years of relevant experience are emphasized, with travel locally and regionally encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s Degree a plus.
• 4+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Fluent in Autodesk CADD programs; REVIT and MathCAD a plus.
• Structural/Geotechnical software and spreadsheets experience preferred.
• Travel locally and regionally may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical aspects of projects under supervision of PMs or principals.
• Analyze and design geostructural and construction engineering projects across transportation, building, waterfront, energy and other infra systems.
• Design and analyze temporary and permanent geostructural systems; support excavation, underpinning, deep foundations, crane bases, temporary traffic support, etc.
• Conduct field investigations, site observations, instrumentation monitoring, and data collection during construction.
• Collaborate within aOne Company environment and assist on cross-functional projects.
