Job description

• Develop and revise high performance next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis pipeline systems.
• Develop complex data integration methods/algorithms across various NGS sequencing techniques.
• Lead or participate in the brainstorming sessions to seek reliable solutions for complex data analysis related to specialized research methodologies
• Oversee the development and maintenance of complex databases to support new and ongoing research projects.
• Investigate/solve complex problems involving interesting and sometimes puzzling data.
• Manage hardware and software resources for multiple labs. Ensure systems meet the continuing needs of the labs.
• Prepare research reports for presentation sometimes to a broad range of non-computational staff and assist with preparation of manuscripts for publication.
