Job summary

Genomics in RTP is seeking an early-career Scientist to join the Life Sciences team. You will apply statistical and computational methods to large genomic and health data, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.

With the team, you will generate novel therapeutic hypotheses, validate targets with genetic evidence, and contribute to patient stratification using polygenic risk scores and related risk factors.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in statistics, genetics and molecular biology.
• Proficient in statistical programming with Python or R.
• Experience analysing diverse omics data using advanced methods.

Responsibilities

• Generate hypotheses for diseases with unmet need using in-house data.
• Develop and validate targets with genetic evidence and stratification approaches.
