Job summary

Vylor, Inc. in Johnston, Iowa invites students to a full-time six-month internship within the Seed Product Development Native Traits team. You’ll work under a senior scientist on genomics tools, marker discovery, and molecular pathology projects to support breeding programs across multiple crops.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s or Doctorate in a relevant field.
• Willingness to relocate to Johnston, Iowa for six months.
• Full-time availability for 40 hours/week starting May 17, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and deploy genomics information and tools with supervision.
• Interpret data, make novel observations, and draw scientific conclusions.
• Manage a personal research project with a verbal report to intern groups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
