The position is fully onsite in New York with grant funding and requires a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences and 1 year of related experience; Master’s may substitute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field; one year of related experience.
• A Master's degree in a related field may substitute one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory responsibilities including utilizing genome sequencing to screen enrolled infants for ~800 genetic conditions.
• Process dried blood spot specimens, verify infant enrollment, and help maintain laboratory SOPs.
