Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field.
• Three years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in basic science or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform DNA and RNA extraction.
• Quantify nucleic acids and assess quality.
• Prepare libraries and pool samples.
• Support high-throughput NGS production using SOPs.
• Operate automation and sequencing support equipment.
• Maintain documentation in LIMS and electronic records.
• Monitor sample quality and escalate issues.
• Assist with QA and corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean lab.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, HIPAA, OSHA and quality requirements.
