Placements24 seeks a talented Postdoctoral Researcher to join a Genomics group focused on the genetic basis of complex diseases. You will design experiments, analyze genomic data, and contribute to high-impact publications in a collaborative setting.

The role emphasizes independence and teamwork, with access to cutting-edge sequencing and computational resources to advance genomic medicine and publish findings at major conferences.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Genomics, Bioinformatics, Genetics, or related life science.
• Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies and data analysis.
• Strong programming skills in R and/or Python for data analysis and visualization.
• Familiarity with Ensembl and UCSC Genome Browser.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with a publication record.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent genomics research focusing on GWAS, transcriptomics, and epigenomics.
• Perform high-throughput sequencing library prep and operate sequencing platforms.
• Analyze complex genomic datasets using R and Python.
• Collaborate with clinicians to integrate genomic and clinical data.
• Prepare manuscripts and present findings at international meetings.
• Keep up-to-date with new methods in genomics and bioinformatics.
