X-Ray Associates of New Mexico, an established radiology practice in Albuquerque, is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner for its Breast Health and Imaging Center. You will see high-risk patients, perform genetic risk assessments, and coordinate genetic testing and imaging in collaboration with specialists.

Qualificações

• Current New Mexico NP license required.
• PECOS certification required.
• Experience in genetic testing and counseling.
• AGN-BC certification in Genetics strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Document detailed family histories, including pedigrees.
• Perform genomic focused health assessments.
• Develop plans of care, order appropriate genetic testing and radiological imaging, initiate health care interventions and make appropriate referrals.
• Provide counseling to individuals and families about genetic risk for breast cancer.
• Provide health education to patients and families influenced by high risk genomic factors related to breast health.
