Job summary

Cook Children's Genetics department is seeking a Genetic Counseling Assistant to coordinate complex case management for patients across on-site clinics, satellite locations, and telemedicine platforms.

The assistant acts as the primary liaison between families and the multidisciplinary genetics team to ensure optimum productivity and patient-centered care, with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm schedule and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 6 years of related healthcare experience required can be substituted for the education.
• 2 years of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex case management for patients across on-site clinics, satellite locations, and telemedicine platforms.
• Serve as primary liaison between families and the multidisciplinary genetics team to ensure optimum productivity.
