Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Company is hiring a Field Service Technician for Coffee Equipment in the Austin, TX area. You will service and install coffee brewers, maintain equipment, and ensure customer satisfaction for healthcare facilities, hotels, and more.

Resided within 30 miles of Austin and capable of lifting up to 75 pounds. On-call once a month and proficient with Microsoft Office are required. Valid driver’s license and clean record are a must.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the equipment service business for customers in Austin TX and surrounding areas.
• Learn the ins and outs of coffee brewers and equipment from our training teams.
• Provide best-in-class customer service to maximize satisfaction and retention.
• Perform service on equipment including maintenance, installations, removals, asset management and emergency service requests.
• Manage equipment inventories including scheduled warehouse inventory checks and parts ordering.
• Document procedures, invoices, customer names and contact information, quality issues and related activities.
• Operate a company vehicle fully equipped with parts and shelving to ensure success.

Coverage area includes Austin TX and surrounding areas.

In this role you will:

• Lead the equipment service business for our customers in Austin TX and surrounding areas.
• Obtain expert knowledge from our training teams to learn the ins and outs of coffee brewers and equipment.
• Provide best-in-class customer service to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
• Perform service on equipment including proactive maintenance installations equipment removals asset management and emergency service requests.
• Manage equipment inventories including scheduled warehouse inventory checks and ordering parts as needed.
• Properly document procedures including electronic invoices customer names and contact information reported quality issues and other related activities.
• Drive and maintain a company vehicle fully equipped with parts shelving and more to ensure you are comfortable and successful in your career!
