Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking an Application Development & Maintenance specialist to develop and sustain software systems using Genesys Cloud CX and integrate CRM platforms.

You will work in a cross-functional team to design, implement, and troubleshoot voice, email, and IVR routing flows, ensuring alignment with business goals. The role emphasizes strong documentation, problem solving, and effective communication across business and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in relevant roles (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• Hands-on development experience with Genesys Cloud CX platform (preferred).
• Experience with CRM integrations (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP CRM) (preferred).
• Ability to document system configurations (call flows, integrations, data actions) (preferred).
• Experience designing, developing, debugging, and maintaining Genesys Cloud Architect flows for voice, email, and IVR routing (preferred).
• Troubleshooting Genesys Cloud platform and identity issues with upstream/downstream apps (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions (preferred).
• Ability to communicate well with business and technical teams (preferred).

Responsibilities

What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health

Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.

Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.

Qualifications:

• Troubleshooting experience to resolve issues with the Genesys Cloud platform and identity issues with upstream or downstream applications, preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, preferred
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, preferred
• Ability to communicate well with business and technical team members, preferred

Anticipated salary range:$96,300.00 - $137,600.00
