Job Details

The Generic Sales Specialist (Remote) leverages the Richardson Sales model to develop, maintain, and implement long-term business partnerships with assigned customers, focusing on contract generic growth and the Cencora Suite of offerings. Responsibilities include providing industry knowledge, explaining total value, and recapturing leak sale orders that benefit both the customer and Cencora. Collaboration with field sales is essential to identify target accounts, address compliance issues, and explore high-potential opportunities.

Positions available in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones

  • Drive generic sales within a targeted group of accounts.
  • Achieve monthly sales and activity goals, including call volume, conversion rates, order volume, and revenue.
  • Monitor and analyze reports to measure profitability growth of contracted generics; develop strategies for continued success.
  • Follow up meticulously with customers, tailor solutions to their needs, and utilize Salesforce for activity updates.
  • Update customers on new programs, promotions, pricing strategies, products, and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales to create account-specific strategies considering customer goals and compliance.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and competitive environment to tailor solutions.
  • Partner with the Corporate Generics team to ensure a consistent approach.
  • Support programs to drive contract generic sales, including new product launches and compliance efforts.
  • Provide feedback and industry insights to the Corporate Generics team.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $42,600 - $60,940 (excluding incentives). Actual salary may vary based on location.

Experience and Education: Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or related fields, or equivalent experience. Minimum four years of relevant experience; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
