What You’ll Do…

• Perform skilled repairs of Volvo Penta Diesel Engines (16 L), Power Solutions International (21.9 L), Marathon generator ends, and various control equipment.
• Learn and utilize manufacturer-specific software for troubleshooting engine and control system issues.
• Provide technical support and liaise with equipment manufacturers.
• Perform scheduled, preventive, or predictive maintenance on generators.
• Troubleshoot and repair generator systems.
• Conduct periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Work in confined, high heat, humidity, or cold environments.
• Follow company procedures for communication.
• Use current technology for communication, documentation, and research.
• Ensure safe operation of electrical equipment following industry standards.
• Safely operate and maintain motor vehicles for company business.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• Experience with Volvo Penta Diesel Engines.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

What You’ll Need

• At least 3 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience.
• Preferred college education or equivalent training (e.g., military).
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely and pass MVR checks.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Computer skills for using software, databases, and systems.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for hours, climb ladders, and lift 50 lbs safely.
• Work ethic characterized by integrity and independence.
