Job summary

Bemana is seeking an experienced Generator Technician in Lebanon, PA to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial generator systems up to 4MW. You will troubleshoot electrical, engine, and control issues and perform ATS testing and load bank checks.

We require 5+ years of generator service, knowledge of major manufacturers, and proficiency with diagnostic tools. Strong safety focus and ability to mentor junior techs are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of generator service and repair experience.
• Experience with major generator manufacturers (Cummins, Kohler, Generac, CAT, MTU, ASCO).
• Proficient with diagnostic software, multimeters, and load banks.

Bemana is seeking an experienced Generator Technician in Lebanon, PA to join a leading independent provider of commercial generator maintenance, repair, and sales. Established in 1990, our client has the Northeast's largest team of EGSA-certified technicians and a growing nationwide presence.

Our client is seeking a skilled Generator Technician 3 with advanced experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel, natural gas, and propane generators, as well as automatic transfer switches (ATS) and control systems.

Position Offers

• $40-$55/hr depending on experience(If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions)

• Specialty tools and arc flash PPE provided

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial generator systems up to 4MW
• Troubleshoot electrical, engine, and control system issues.
• Perform load bank testing, ATS testing, and system performance checks.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Lead emergency service calls and support complex field repairs.
• Complete accurate service documentation and parts reporting.
• Mentor Generator Technicians I & II.
• Coordinate with customers, project managers, dispatch, and vendors to complete jobs efficiently.
• Follow safety standards and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 5+ years of generator service and repair experience.
• Experience with major generator manufacturers (Cummins, Kohler, Generac, CAT, MTU, ASCO).
• Proficient with diagnostic software, multimeters, and load banks.
• Knowledge of NFPA 110, NFPA 70E, and OSHA standards.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
