Amerit Fleet Solutions is hiring a Diesel Equipment & Generator Technician/Mechanic in Euless, TX. The role covers diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered equipment and generators to ensure safety and reliability across the fleet.

You will perform inspections, document repairs, and use your tools and expertise to keep equipment running efficiently. The position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits after 30 days, with opportunities for growth nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ hands-on experience repairing diesel equipment, generators, and associated components.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on diesel engines, generators, and related equipment.
• Experience testing and operating vehicles and equipment to verify proper function.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to meet physical demands and pass pre-employment screenings (including DOT if required).

Pay & Schedule

Pay $30.00 - $34.00/hour (based on experience)

Pay Frequency Weekly pay - every Friday

Schedule Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces. This position requires regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment. Technicians may be required to work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms and must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions. Due to the active work environment and movement of large vehicles, the ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace is required.
