Airgas in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Generator Technician to repair, refurbish, and maintain engine-driven generators and welding equipment for rental. The role involves assembling, testing, and calibrating equipment, with a focus on safety and quality assurance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbish, and maintain engine-driven generators and ensure safe working conditions.
• Assemble diesel, gas, or propane equipment for rental and test for functionality.
• Test, calibrate, and replace worn parts; perform routine PM on generators and welding equipment.
• Inspect returned equipment for proper operation or damage and document repairs.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack to move equipment and keep a clean, organized workspace.
