Adams, Inc. in Wisconsin is offering a hybrid Generator Technician Apprentice role designed to grow you into a licensed Journeyman Electrician while you learn generator systems.

You will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair generators and receive residential electrical apprenticeship training under licensed electricians. This path leads toward licensure and specialized backup power expertise.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in electrical systems and generators.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies, codes and manufacturer specifications; maintain records and report concerns.
• Work with electricians and generator technicians; attend training and communicate professionally.
• Support project teams and customer relationships; demonstrate initiative and adaptability.
• Assist with generator installations, residential electrical work, maintenance, troubleshooting, and use of schematics and tools.
• Maintain tools, vehicles and worksites responsibly.
