Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Generator Service Technician for the New Albany, OH data center. You will identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical generator systems and engine mechanical failures while maintaining communication with clients to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

All required tools are provided by AWS. The role supports data center availability, safety, and collaboration with a diverse team of engineers and operations staff to deliver reliable cloud

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience in relevant work
• Can bend or twist the body into unusual positions while working
• Can use hands to manipulate small wires and objects
• Can walk on job sites in uneven terrain
• Can work at heights and from ladders

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of data center engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/ fiber) cabling
• Experience in data center engineering
• Can perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tired

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
