Job summary

Davis & Green is hiring an experienced electrician with generator knowledge to join our team in Richmond, VA. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and service residential and commercial standby power systems, reading diagrams and schematics as needed.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience required.
• Generator service and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair residential and commercial standby generators.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues.
• Troubleshoot transfer switches, control panels, and generator systems.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and load testing.
• Install and commission new generator systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service while working safely and efficiently.
