Generator Lube / Service Field Technician

Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and NW Missouri.

Our Generator Lube/Service Field Technician (EPG CVA Field Technician) is primarily responsible for providing high-quality preventive maintenance on systems, with a focus on heavy power generation services.

Pay Range: $25.61 - $45.29

What You Will Do In This Role

• Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on all systems
• Repair or replace parts as required within the defined expectations of the task
• Order replacement parts and services efficiently
• Test and verify correct operation of all maintenance repairs and adjustments
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers about their maintenance and repairs
• Work overtime as required and be available for after-hours calls
• Travel for training and to assist at other locations

Our Ideal Candidate

• Basic mechanical knowledge, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics
• Knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Understanding of crane hoist and rigging equipment (preferred)
• Forklift experience (preferred)
• Ability to read and understand specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins
• Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 3 months
• Valid CDL license required
