Job summary

Tri-State Water, Power & Air is hiring a Generator Installer to perform high-quality installations of whole-home standby generators. You will work closely with the team to ensure on-time completion and customer satisfaction, while adhering to safety standards and local codes.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and prior experience in construction, electrical, or plumbing, plus strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to read and follow installation instructions and codes.

Responsibilities

  • Install whole-home standby generators and ensure proper setup.
  • Collaborate with team to complete projects on time and ensure quality workmanship.
  • Follow local, state and company codes and safety procedures.
  • Communicate with homeowners professionally during installations.
  • Maintain tools and equipment and drive to job sites as needed.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Summary

The Generator Installer is responsible for performing high-quality installations of whole‑home standby generators, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety and industry standards.

Essential Functions
  • The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform installations of whole‑home standby generators, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
  • Work closely with other team members to complete projects on time and ensure quality workmanship.
  • Work alongside other installers, following detailed instructions to maintain compliance with local, state, and company codes.
  • Communicate with homeowners professionally and courteously to address questions and concerns during installations.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use.
  • Drive a motor vehicle safely and legally to and from job sites and customer locations as part of the core job duties.
  • Support the team with other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in construction, electrical, or plumbing is highly preferred.
