Job summary

Premier Generators, a Power Support Partners Company, is seeking an Electrician specializing in Generator Installation to install, wire, maintain, and service backup power systems for residential properties. This role involves ensuring compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards while diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues for reliable performance.

You will work with the Install Team, travel from the Crossville warehouse to job sites, and collaborate to deliver

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Install residential backup generators per specifications and codes.
• Conduct on-site assessments to determine best generator placement.
• Connect generator to main panel via ATS or transfer switch with proper wiring.
• Assemble and install generator components per manufacturer guidelines.
• Integrate fuel sources like natural gas or propane.
• Test and commission the system to ensure reliable operation.
• Educate homeowners on operation, maintenance, and safety.
• Maintain accurate installation records and paperwork.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other installers.
