Job summary

Generator Supercenter South ATL is hiring an electrical/generator installation technician. You will pull wire, install conduit, and wire electrical devices, including ATS and load-relay modules, while reading wiring diagrams to ensure safe, compliant installations.

Qualifications

• Must have previous 2-3 years electrical/generator installation experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• AC and DC electrical experience is a plus.
• Works well with team members and has a collaborative spirit.
• Must have your own hand tools.
• Generator installation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire, install conduit, install and wire up electrical devices, including ATS and load relay modules
• Trace wiring and troubleshoot problems
• Assist in load-testing generator packages
• Assist in other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products such as trenching, piping, mechanical components, and civil assembly for setting power generation packages
• Read wiring diagrams
• Perform proper installation of all electrical equipment required to complete fabrication of projects (i.e. brackets, conduit, wiring, end devices, panels, etc.)
• Be proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipment
• Promote good welfare among the company and its divisions
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code
