Job summary

Generac is seeking a Generator Service Technician in Tampa, Florida. In this critical role, you will perform repairs and services on various generator models and ensure they meet operational standards. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience with power generation equipment and a solid understanding of mechanical design and circuitry. Responsibilities include responding to emergency service calls, maintaining vehicle inventory, and conducting preventative maintenance. A valid driver's license is required for local travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of service experience with power generation equipment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and services on all makes and models of generator sets.
• Conduct inspections, repairs, services, and load bank tests.
• Troubleshoot generator components including alternators and wiring.

Skills

Service experience with power generation equipment

Knowledge of power generation

Mechanics and troubleshooting

Preventative maintenance experience
