Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician in the DFW area.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on engine-driven generators and automatic transfer switches at customer sites or our shop. This role requires 2 years of diesel or natural gas engine experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read electrical diagrams.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with diesel and/or natural gas engines, generators, and automatic transfer switches.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose engine and electrical repairs on power generation equipment (engine-driven generators and automatic transfer switches).
• Perform preventive maintenance on power generation equipment.
• Start-ups on new power generation equipment.
• Work at customer sites or at our local shop.
• Process required paperwork and electronic submissions within deadlines.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call technician rotation.
