Job summary

Four Seasons Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical in the Chicagoland area is seeking a Generator Apprentice to join our service team. You will work with crew leads to install generators, run gas and electrical lines, interact with customers, and gain hands-on experience across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tasks.

Servicing our broad territory in Chicagoland and NW Indiana, this role offers practical on-site training and a clear path for growth.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs overhead.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to use shovels, rakes, and power tools.
• Electrical, gas line, and generator experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Install generators and related electrical and gas lines.
• Solve mechanical problems on site.
• Assist crew leads with daily installation and service tasks.
• Support shop activities and maintain tools and equipment.
• Interact professionally with customers and team members.
