Raydar is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer in San Francisco to own the model development lifecycle from experimentation to deployment. You will train and refine generative models for images and video, design evaluation suites, and build compact in-house models to boost speed and quality.

You will curate datasets from user activity and expert judgments, and lead example collection and annotation to keep model outputs improving in a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience as a machine learning engineer.
• Hands-on with current generative approaches for images and video (diffusion).
• Proven track record taking models from training to production.
• Strong judgment on dataset design, annotation and curation.
• Hands-on implementer mindset; deliver working systems.
• Experience on a CV or generative media team; comfortable owning modeling work in a fast-moving setting.

Responsibilities

• Train, adapt and assess generative models powering the software product.
• Design evaluation suites and iterative feedback for image/video models.
• Convert user activity and expert judgment into curated training/testing datasets.
• Develop compact in-house models for speed and quality.
• Determine which examples to gather, annotate and refine to improve outputs.
