Job summary

Google Public Sector seeks a Generative AI Customer Engineering Lead in Reston, VA. You will lead the Generative AI platform community within GPS Customer Engineering, drive knowledge sharing, and collaborate with field teams to turn market trends into solutions.

Travel to customer sites and events as needed. You will partner with Product Engineering and Technical Sales to bring Google Cloud AI products to customers, explain features, design architectures, and support successful deployments for

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in technical consultant, pre-sales engineer, enterprise architect, or customer-facing role.
Experience building AI/ML solutions leveraging LLMs, Open Source, Big Data, AI infrastructure, MLOps.
Experience presenting to technical stakeholders and executives.

Responsibilities

Partner with Product Engineering and Technical Sales to bring Google Cloud AI products to customers.
Empower customers to harness Google AI by explaining features, designing architectures, building AI applications, and resolving roadblocks.
Identify and qualify business opportunities, understand objections, and develop strategies to resolve blockers.
Foster strong technical relationships with customers, including delivering briefings, demos, PoC, and collaborating with product management to prioritize solutions driving adoption.
Lead meetings with field teams to identify market trends and develop innovative solutions with GPS teams for alignment.
