Job summary

Google's software engineers develop next-generation technologies that power billions of users and influence how information is accessed and shared. This role focuses on building scalable systems and AI-enabled features across Google’s platforms, with opportunities to work across distributed computing, data storage, and security domains.

We seek engineers who can contribute to design reviews, deploy ML components, and push for high-quality, well-documented code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2 years of experience with generative AI technologies, including launching features.
• 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing sources of issues and impact on operations.
• Implement solutions in ML areas and contribute to model optimization and data processing.
