Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Generative AI Research Scientist to join our innovative team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about exploring and developing advanced AI solutions. As a key research team member, you will analyze state-of-the-art research papers, explore new methodologies, prototype, and implement cutting-edge Generative AI models, focusing on generative models, diffusion techniques, and virtual try-on (VTON) workflows. Your work will help connect product concepts, production workflows, and consumer experiences, accelerating time to market, reducing operational costs, and enabling personalized product creation. You will also contribute to the development of next-generation AI solutions shaping our products and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct exploratory research to evaluate and replicate state-of-the-art Generative AI techniques, focusing on diffusion models, LoRA, and other advanced methodologies.
• Develop and optimize models for fashion-specific applications, such as VTON, sketch-to-image, and material fidelity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research with product goals and ensure practical applicability.
• Design and train models using large-scale datasets for scalable deployment.
• Partner with academic institutions and research labs to incorporate cutting-edge insights into applied AI development.
• Publish research findings to enhance Centric’s reputation in AI research.
• Work with AI engineers, product managers, and designers to integrate research into deployable solutions.
• Share findings internally and publish in top-tier conferences and journals to foster innovation.
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concept models to test ideas and benchmark performance.
• Continuously optimize models for faster processing, higher quality, and better user experiences.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• Expertise in Generative AI, including diffusion models, LoRA, and training methodologies.
• Experience translating research into prototypes and solutions.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience creating training models from scratch.
• Hands-on experience scaling AI models for practical applications, especially in computer vision, VTON, or similar areas.
• Familiarity with recent AI research and ability to critique and apply research papers.
• Proficiency in Python and other AI-relevant programming languages.
• Knowledge of neural networks, optimization, and evaluation strategies.
• Research publications in top-tier venues are a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Centric Software is an equal opportunity employer. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $158,000 - $250,000 plus benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Candidates with exceeding qualifications may be considered for higher compensation. Compensation details reflect base salary; variable incentives may apply.
