Job summary

Uncountable Inc. is seeking driven software engineers focused on deploying Generative AI in software.

You will build AI-powered search, visualization tools, and next-generation UX using multimodal LLMs to assist scientists in R&D across materials science, chemistry, biotech, and more. You will ship end-to-end features, develop an in-house LLM stack, and collaborate across frontend/backend, APIs, and databases while iterating rapidly with user feedback.

Qualifications

• 2 years of development experience.
• Strong interest in Generative AI.
• Solid computer science and software engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Building LLM-powered features end-to-end, including prompting, latency optimization, and testing; fullstack tasks (frontend/backend, APIs, databases).
• Developing an in-house LLM stack to support product needs (API integration, testing, observability, caching, fine-tuning and inference).
